there was a small crack in the cement that we had to patch before we put in the floor...Jessi's first attempt with a caulk gun. And she did pretty well!
We got the flooring put into the kitchen and it looks pretty good. The laminate is definitely the way to go for a beginning flooring project. It was a pain in the butt to get started, but once the first three rows were done it went really quick and smooth!I bought a tablesaw and still have all 10 of my fingers!

Wow, I found your blog! The house looks great! Isn't it such a great feeling of accomplishment to know that YOU DID IT?!?!? We are more than likely moving back to Esco until Bryan finishes school, we we'll be there for about 18 months until we move to who know where... that is, IF we end up moving there. Things are still up in the air about it, but whatever! :)
